Rhododendron, Southwestern Finland
This one lonely Rhododendron in the morning light against a sumptuously green backdrop was begging to be photographed. I took several photos one with sunlight beaming on it. The sunlit photos were bright but also bled the flower more.
Black Currants, Southwestern Finland
Crab Apples, Southwestern Finland
What I like about this photo of apples is the angle of the branch into the blue sky. Almost like the apples are falling into the camera on a long tendril of a plant
Pines in the morning light, Southwestern Finland
This is, interestingly enough, new growth on a pine tree. The pine needles though were blueish white. There's no filter on this, the morning light accentuated the colour
Reflections in the Baltic, Southwestern Finland
The sun was setting and the Baltic was calm.
Sunset on the Baltic Sea, Southwestern Finland
Part of the appeal of this photo is that lonely cloud reflected in the water
Rushes along the shore, Baltic Sea, Southwestern Finland
Amongst those rushes were perch and pike. Damned if they were going to bite on a fishing line on a day that calm! My favourite part of this photo was that I only took it once and the colours were spot on and the blue reflection outweighs the actual sky itself
Fishing Lure, Southwestern Finland
My friends' lucky lure. Helped me catch a pike and a perch (that got away)
